Are you in the 3D Window when you open the Settings dialog? In 3D, Archicad does not know which Story "you want to be on".
Go to the Floor Plan Viewpoint and check if the Home Story field is available then.

I am missing something. Very simple most likely, but I cannot figure it out:

When using the MEP tool, whenever I am placing an element, I cannot choose the Storey Level (see pic) it is greyed out. If I am connecting it to an already placed element on the storey I am currently working on, it is placed on the lowest storey. Thus I have to place it, then move it. Every time. Cannot adequately describe how annoying this is. If I open the full settings of the element home Storey is greyed out with Flexible (by element) pre-filled in and no option to change. Layer choice is unlocked, visible etc etc.

Also, is there another library of MEP parts? The one that came with 24 has about 2 parts in each folder and i have watched tutorials and each folder has a vast selection.

Thanks in advance.
