Railing system driving me nuts

Hello, everyone

I've been trying to place a wall railing on the stair I created and just happens that it worked perfectly with one stair, but it is really messed up with the other one (there are 2 stairs).

Basically, when I place it using the the space bar its fixings are set in the wrong direction - something that I manage to fix by changing the reference line after placing it.

Then, there's a green line and a blue line. The blue line (I suppose) is the point of host whereas the green line (I suppose again) is the actual lenght of the rail (where it physically starts and ends).

The problem is that these 2 lines are not aligned and they are starting / ending at different points and I can't seem to align them no matter what!

Any ideas on how to fix that and get it done?

The Blue Line is called the Railing Reference Line.
The green line is probably the Railing body itself.
The perpendicular distance of the Railing body from the Railing Reference Line is determined by the Reference Line Setting in the Segment page of the Railing Settings Dialog. It is probably offset to a distance to the left or right.

If the railing body is shifted at a distance along its length, that can be caused by one specific setting in my experience. In the Railing Settings Dialog, select the Node page on the left, and the check to see the value set in the Ending Node Offset field. If it is set to a non-zero value, this shifting can occur. Try to set to back it to zero.
