<T>Hi

I have a skillion roof where I want to align the edge surface with the wall below. The surface seems to want to orientate perpendicular to the roof slope no matter what

Any tips?
As far as I know you can only align the top surface of a roof.

I would model this as it is built.
Make the roof a thin plane for the surface and trim the wall to the underside of it.

Or maybe you could make the roof a composite if you want the thickness of the entire roof structure.
Then make sure the wall building materials are stronger than the roof building materials except for the very top surface (which needs to be the strongest of all) because you don't want the wall to extend through the roof.
Then 'Connect' and trim the wall to the roof.

Hi Barry

I tried to do as you suggested but the wall is still coming through the roof
There are three building materials in play, listed in order of priority

1) Roof sheeting thickness
2) Wall structure
3) Roof structure

The wall is coming through still.

It should work just fine.
Here is one I just mocked up showing the building material strength of each skin of the composites.
