HowTo create door/window any element at exact distance from wall or another element while creation?

Hi!

I can't manage how to insert object into walls so to make it lets say 1000units sharp from opening that is on left side ..

I hope I dont have to randomly insert elements there and only after tweak distances ...

Thanks , it helps , but still think it's complicated a little bit, in revit that is solved more easily by having 2 interactive dimentions at left and right side of element .

Make sure you align your window to the right side and hold your mouse on the edge of the other window (without pressing any mouse button).
Then press X for horizontal and Y for vertical distance, followed by the offset distance with a + or - (500+) and press enter to place the window.
