Hi everyone,
please forgive my english 'cause I'm Italian and i'm not familiar with this terms in english.
I just created a gothic cross vault (with sharp arches) by intersecting two straight vaults, so i got a square-base shaped vault.
Now i need this vault to have a trapezoid-base shape, and i can't figure out how to do it. I tried to convert the shells in morphs, but it's too messy to move all that nodes in position. Any suggestions?

To get a horizontal ridge of the roof, You can try first to construct it normally with raising ridge, then draw a new section through the ridge and rotate it back to horizontal.

A normal Gothic cross vault is relatively easy to accomplish. a trapezoid one is more difficult, but with the use of morph-Lines in 3D and an other option from the shell-tool, its not so complicated to form.

Do you have any suggestions on how to create this angle junction between the dome and the below four arches?

This is also a dome but just bigger. Construct it not as triangle - make a whole big dome, and set another on it.
