Go to the Work Environment Dialog's Network and Update page.
There you can specify to check for updates by checking the "Check for updates" checkbox and also set its frequency and whether you want to check for ARCHICAD updates, library updates or both.

<T>Hi - I just upgraded from 16 to 19 - definitely seeing an improvement in speed. One issue, I'm having problems with "show on stories" command working with floors and stairs. For example, I'd like a stair to be shown on Home Story only, but the "Show on stories" will not change in the Floor Plan Display. Suggests for troubleshooting?

Thx</T>

What version of ArchiCAD are you using? It might be related to your operating system. ?

It works for me using Windows 10 Pro.
If I edit the stair to show on story below, story above, home story only... it works.

Did you check to see that your story levels are set the way you want them ? Cut Plane ?

I'm on ArchiCAD 19, Mac OS 10.11.
Yes, stories levels and cut plans a working right. I have the same system on ArchiCAD 16 and "Show of Stories" worked correctly. How can I determine if it's something with AC19 and OS 10.11? All else seems to work fine.
Thanks
Updating to the latest ARCHICAD 19 build will hopefully solve your problem:

<LINK_TEXT text="http://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/techno ... 9_or_older">http://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/technotes/operating-systems/mac-os-x-10-11-el-capitan-beta/#Can8217t_select_menu_itemsfrom_drop-down_menus_in_ARCHICAD_19_or_older</LINK_TEXT>

This is one of the examples of why is it advisable to be always updated to the latest build as it contains numerous bug fixes.

Thanks! - that worked. I installed AC 19 Build 4011 and then 4013.
I don't get regular notification that updates are available - how do you get these notifications?
In addition to Laszlo's advice, there is a Check for Updates... command under the Help menu if you want to check immediately.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
Hello,

I have problems with objects ... that I want to show just on 1 stories. For example, I set it to be shown just on 3+stories and none bellow and I can still see it in all stories except the first one.

Is there any bug?

Thank you,
