The problem is, most tools in the floor plan are a representative view of the 3D element.
i.e. they are not a true top down 3D view, but an interpreted view.
The exception to this is the morph and multi-plane roof elements (they are relatively new tools).
They will show the SEO that have been applied to them.

This may change in future versions if the other tools get upgraded to show a true top down projection, but if and when this will happen we will have to wait and see.

<T>Hi,

I have searched this topic for now and then and I'm pretty sure the standard answer is that SEO don't show up on plan view.

There are new releases of ArchiCADs coming every year and I wonder if they have fixed this major issue somehow or are there any usuable workarounds. SEO is the easiest way to make and edit irregular shapes by using simple tools, but it's useless when I can't show it on plan view and I have to convert it to complex morph or use 2D elements like fills and lines to cover this mess up.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?</T>
