File>External Content>Place External Drawing>Choose a .pln file and it will show the available views. This wil place it on a new layout

Place drawing using drawing tool and use external source to drop view on existing layout

Hope that's what you were looking for.

You can always explode these into current view if required for localized editing

I'm looking to bring in a worksheet from one file into another. Not necessarily place it on a layout sheet.

Unlinked worksheets: I don't think you can copy the views.

Linked worksheets: if you copy the markers and paste them in a new project the views will be created, but the content will not be.

You might get something done with a file merge. (backup your files before trying it, obviously)

Or save the file as a template and create a new project based on that template.
