normally not all element must be forced to jointed once they touched ?&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>Beams will always do that. Move the reference line so that they do not intersect or change the &lt;I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;S&gt;&lt;I&gt;&lt;I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;/S&gt;intersection group&lt;E&gt;&lt;/E&gt; of one of them. Though, with your current reference lines, it should work if you just shorten them to match your diagram...&lt;BR /&gt;

This is a little frustrating.&lt;BR /&gt;
For walls, the reference lines have to touch before they will trim together.&lt;BR /&gt;
With beams they will trim if any part of them overlaps.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
The only way I know to avoid this is as Ling suggested, putting each in a different layer with different layer intersection priority numbers (or the same layer with a priority of zero).&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Or you could play around with segmented beams and adjust the segment sizes so they only just touch and not overlap.&lt;BR /&gt;
