<T>Hi,

I deleted the user preferences as requested by ArchiCAD, however when I try to open ArchiCAD the same message to delete the preference appears. I expected ArchiCAD to open and create a new preference. Is there something else I should've done>

Thank You!</T>

Dear Claire,

Thank you for your question!

Could you share with us the ARCHICAD version and Operating system version you are using currently? Also, a screenshot about the error message will be very helpful to understand what is going wrong!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,
Minh

Every user logged into you machine will have their own user profile.
Are you sure you deleted the preferences from the correct profile? (i.e. not just from 'default user' profile).
Also (possibly depending on your OS) there are 'local' and 'roaming' profiles and some sections of the profiles are in hidden system folders.
You need to make sure you are deleting the correct files.

And as Minh suggests, a screen shot of the error message will be helpful.
