<T>Hello everyone,

Being new to archicad, I was wondering what the best method for making a screen is. I'm making a screened in porch and there is no object or anything for screens. I figure I should make it as an object but I'm sure somebody on here has done it successfully before.</T>

I would:
• Use a Morph without thickness with a surface
• Create a Surface that has:
••• Vectorial Fill with the Screen Pattern
••• Image of the Screen Pattern

To understand better what Eduardo is suggesting, see this identical/old topic - which is pre Morph and so uses the wall tool, but same solutions.

http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=292

Rather than a Morph or wall, if the screens on the porch have frames like windows... then use a Window object in a wall and set the glass material for the window to the described surface. Then, you can schedule the screens with elevation previews etc, too.
