Display surface fill for CW panel !!?

I can't figure out how to display the fill of the curtain Wall panels in the plan vi. I have surfaces with fills that I need to be visible in the plan vore.

This sounds like the issue I have run into...

I have multiple canopies that I have created using the Curtain Wall Tool and I would like to show a 25% fill on the panels. Ideally, this would be a 25% black to transparent fill since the panels are semi-permeable.

As an added caveat, this is in AC22, matching the original OP post...
