Custom Stair editing

<R>I need to make a stair where the bottom part of the landing is wider than the top - There is no standard stair option for this right?

So because I need to create a custom stair for it, why is it that I can't edit the length of the stair ?
And why is that that every time I want to increase my tread depth I get this pop up message about my 2riser+run and it won't even let me increase or decrease it? - please see attached image.
</R>

I don't have an answer for you I am afraid.
I just wanted to bring to everyone's attention that this is the old stairmaker tool in Archicad 18.
So don't respond with answers about the new stair tool (that by the way can do this easily).

So any experts on the old stair tool, please reply.
