topic Moving an Entire Fill using Offset Modifiers in Modeling

<T>Hello,
I am a new Archicad user and I am currently working on my first project in Archicad. I would like to set up a complex wall profile for a stud wall with a stone water table with stone cap and cladding above. Is it possible to move an entire fill with the offset modifiers? I am attaching a picture of the wall profile showing the cap so you all can see the shape of the cap as well. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!</T>

Create a modifier for the height of the wall under the capping brick.
Apply this modifier to the top of that wall as well as the bottom of the capping brick, the top of the capping brick and the bottom of the cladding.
You can apply the same modifier to more than one edge.

TIP: it is easier once you have created the fills for the profile, move them apart temporarily to apply the modifiers to the correct edges.
Then move them back to the correct positions (the modifiers will move as well).
See images.

As Barry said, by moving the cap temporarily away, you can easily assign the edges you want to move with that modifier.

Therefore you can attach 3 edges to that one modifier - add/remove edges by hovering over the modifier dimension (or assigned edge) and an on-screen control appears.

Thank you Barry and James! You both were a huge help! The wall works great.
