We had to suspend the public release of ArchiCAD 18 Update 5014 due to a Teamwork error found in it. The version is safe to use for those who already have it, but please avoid these actions in Teamwork:

- force leave users out from projects using the web interface
- delete projects from the server

We made the update unavailable through the automatic update system. We are still investigating the error in detail and will get back to you with more information as soon as possible.

From the middle of this week we will re-publish a corrected version of the update. For the different language versions we will make them available as they pass QC. The automatic update system will notify all users no matter if they already installed Build 5014 or not.

About the symptoms of the problems that lead to the decision to suspend Update 5014 we can provide you some more detailed information:

Force leaving users out from projects using the web interface:
Some users will be temporarily missing from the Teamwork palette and their reservations will not be visible by others. The problem will disappear completely after users rejoining the project.

Deleting project from the server:
- Some users will be temporarily missing from the Teamwork palette and their reservations will not be visible by others. The problem will disappear completely after users rejoining the project.
- All TW messaging will be lost.
- The deleted project might still appear to exist but it will be greyed out and no further action will be possible on these greyed out items.

We will publish the new ArchiCAD 18 Update (Build 5100) that solves the mentioned problems today for the INT and AUS versions through the automatic updating system. For other languages we will make it available very soon as they pass QC. The automatic update system will notify all users no matter if they already installed Build 5014 or not.

Is build 5100 the latest? How do I update ArchiCAD?

Go Help menu > Check for Updates.... Also in the Work Environment > Company Standards Schemes > Network and Update you can set an interval to automatically check for updates.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
