    <description>I noted a strange behavior of the automatic zone.&lt;BR /&gt;
If a wall is on a switched-off layer it is not taken into account in the automatic zone detection, but if the same wall has a door and the ref line of the wall touch the boundary of the zone, this door is taken into account in the calculation of length of doors of of the automatically-detected zone.&lt;BR /&gt;
The same happens even if the wall is set as "not boundary" (probably the setting is called somehow differently ... I use the ITA version)&lt;BR /&gt;
I don't understand why the autoomatic zone tool has been thought this way ...&lt;BR /&gt;
what's the purpose of recognizing a door on an hidden layer?&lt;BR /&gt;
is it a bug?</description>

I try to explain better.&lt;BR /&gt;
I have two adjacent rooms separated by an empty opening.&lt;BR /&gt;
I need to have automatically one zone and not two separated zones.&lt;BR /&gt;
I know how to do it manually but I would like id automatically.&lt;BR /&gt;

More ...&lt;BR /&gt;
If I do it manually I get strange values of "perimeters of wall" ... is there a trick to have it correct?&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>No real trick, but model it without the opening or split the wall and assign the bit with the opening as not being zone boundary.&lt;BR /&gt;

Polylines can be zone boundaries too, this is what I use to 'cheat' with mostly. I have a similar problem with modelled dormer windows, where I use the special openings to cut away the part I don't need on the side, which messes up the automatic zone, so I put the wall as no-boundary and use a polyline as boundary.</description>

Even if I often used the lines and polilines as boundaries ... I never thought of this way of cheating ... &lt;BR /&gt;
I think this is the only right now ...</description>

      <description>I'd use the manual boundary on the zone, but I don't do quantity take off in relation to zones that much.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
I am actually not sure what happens if the wall is not zone boundary, in terms of schedules picking it up from the zone.</description>
