There is not really a need to convert it to a morph. Edit the segment instead? In the lower segment, you can just turn off the balusters and change the fixing type.

In that was it stays associated to your stairs and if you need to change anything, you can reset the rail rather than redraw it.

<R>Hi there, I have a staircase which requires two different types of railings (photo below). I have a hand rail running along a wall which need to connect to a balustrade railing. After some heavy duty manipulating, I got the two railings to connect, but it looks sloppy (photo below). Is there a better way to go about connecting the two different railings to one another? Thank you </R>

Morph is possibly your best method. Very difficult to get it to work by adjusting the parameters

That's what I was thinking as well. After digging through the parameters of my rail for almost an hour, I figured morph might be the best option. It will just be a bit time consuming.

To speed things up, just draw the main handrail all the way to the bottom, so the connection of the wooden corner should look good. Then only select the bottom handrail - convert to morph and delete anything you don't need, that should be fairly fast.
