&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Use the standard landing and set the riser offsets to zero.&lt;BR /&gt;Turn off the rule for automatic landing length.&lt;BR /&gt;Draw the reference line on the outside of the stair.&lt;BR /&gt;Make sure the distance between points 2 &amp;amp; 3 is twice the flight width.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can do it also using the winder instead of the landing, but then you have place the start and end of the first flight, then switch to 'winder' in the pet palette, add the next 3 nodes for the winder (landing), and then switch back to 'flight' and add the last node.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Barry.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>U stair with step in landing</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;I am trying to create a "U" shape stair with a step in the landing. It needs to be very compact so I want the 2 landings to be rectangles, not "L" shape, and no space between the 2 flights. So I create a flight, then a landing, then for the next landing I use "winder with equal angles", then the final flight. But the 2 landings are still modified "L" shapes, not rectangles.&lt;/DIV&gt;
