Three things to try...

1. Use graphic overrides to set all lines to required weight.

2. In section setting use the cut elements overrides...
<LINK_TEXT text="https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/guide ... -settings/">https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/guides/archicad-21/archicad-21-reference-guide/user-interface-reference/tool-settings-dialog-boxes/section-tool-settings/</LINK_TEXT>

3. I'm not sure if this makes it to the output but on screen view options includes "Bold Cut Lines"...
<LINK_TEXT text="https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/guide ... w-options/">https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/guides/archicad-21/archicad-21-reference-guide/views-of-the-virtual-building/on-screen-view-options/</LINK_TEXT>
Composite profile linework

<T>Hello everyone, I am in the process of preparing construction documentation in
AC21 and have some challenge getting the linework right. As you may see on the attached picture , I would need the highlighted section of thick lines to be thin. I fiddled with settings of composite / lines of both ends /backward ,forward/ wall begin and end lines e.t.c. no success so far. The local normative for tech drawings is such, that all lines is sections should be thin ,excep for the dividing contour (in other words the line between the wall/floor edge and the airspace). I would need this to work seemless, no chance to send objects forward /backward considering the time constraints.

Any clue would be much appreciated,

Have a great day,

Norbert,

This has been a consistent issue for me for many years... I have not ever been able to overcome this hurdle. I would love to, as I feel it definitely detracts from the readability of the drawings, as well as the creditability... I constantly am talking to staff about making sure that "lines on the drawing mean something" and not being able to correct this but only "hide" it with tedious 2D work is frustrating.

Hopefully someone else has figured it out!

Thanks Bill, I haven't figured it out yet ,what would secure the linework consistance, without having to go back to 2D linework and fill solutions, since that is not feasible, considering the licence costs we have.

I wouldn t like to scrape archicad and move to Revit ,but it is a serious issue ,since we are focused on construction documentation.

I did all the above suggestions, however it's not solving all the graphic issues.

Any workaround or advice would be much appreciated.
