If the stair module consists of multiple stories of walls, and the story heights don't match the new file, have you set the module to "Keep Elevation as in Story Structure of Hotlink Source"?

<T>Hello,

I'm running into some problems with my hotlinks. I have made a stairwell module that includes exterior windows. However, when place it into another file, the windows at the bottom of the stairwell become covered and the top windows are fine. I checked to see if there are overlapping walls but there aren't and the windows are linked to the correct floors.

If any one has any insights on what could be wrong, I would be so happy for your help.

I attached two images. one images shows the module with the windows appearing on all the doors the way I want, and the other photo shows how they appear in the file. The lower floor windows become covered by the wall.

Thanks!</T>

If you move the placed module away from the other building do the windows re-appear?
Or try placing a second instance of the module off to the side.
