      <description>You can explode the drawing (keeping the original drawing as well, if you like).&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
You can hide any unwanted layers before exploding the drawing, either by going in to the drawning settings and unchecking the layers, or right clicking elements you don't want to see and picking hide layer.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
The exploded elements will end up on the layer of the placed drawing, so if you want some control over layers, you can hide all but that layer, change drawing layer, explode and repeat for the layers you want.</description>

      <description>You can also use XREF function, but this will import layers, fills, line types and such to your project, which you may not like.</description>
