Model a hexagon structured curtain wall of complex geometry?

I need to build a 3D model with a complex skin structure. Actually, it is a bridge of an unconventional design. The outer skin should be constructed with the hexagon elements.

Here is the structure that I am after:

Can this be created with Curtain wall somehow?
Can this be done in Archicad at all?
If not, any other apps to to this?

This is how to do a custom panel for curtain wall:

Since you showed an example of panels with variuos dimensions of opening you propably need some sot of point attraction.
This is possible to do but in a custom made GDL object:

Finally you need to merge those two things. In my opinion this is not possible in Archicad at the moment or requires to write the whole object in GDL, thats pretty difficult.

Yeah. That's the first thing I checked. I didn't see an option to use hexagon fields though. Is it there?

Uh...yeah...that would be an overkill for me.

This seems doable, although with a steep learning curve. I'll try.
I wonder how come there isn't any good and user-friendly tool to do this, since this kind of structural facades are really becoming quite common.
