I need to purchase ARCHICAD but local reseller is not in?

so..here's a dilemma I'm sure Graphisoft would love to have every week.....

I need to purchase ARCHICAD!. I'm ready and need to purchase it but my local reseller is in Portugal and I don't know when he'll be back.
There "has" to be someone else I can communicate with regarding the purchase of the software?.....

Can anyone here help?

Other than going to a different reseller, how about the 30-day free trial version in the meantime?

So...can I go to a different reseller? I thought I couldn't do that?
I mean...whats the point of having "ONE" guy hold the area hostage? Why can't I just go to the folks whom I've known and worked with in the past? This whole "region" thing is bogus......so when someone like me "needs" to have the software ASAP...then what? I'm stuck and at the mercy of that one reseller? Not good business......

So, explain to me the 30 day trial version? I'm currently consulting but will have to give the key back to the original owner of the software.....so if I do the 30-day trial version...will I have to reinstall, uninstall, reinstall etc...? will the file I"m working on get "locked" out? will it become unusable??

Remember, production MUST continue in a forward momentum...

so I dialed "1-617-485-4200", pressed "1" for "SALES" and of course, got an answering message....."Hi this is Kevin at Graphisoft, please leave your name and number and I'll try to call you back as soon as possible".....

There has to be another way to purchase Archicad besides having to go thru ONE person in the area....has to be.

The US HQ number you called should have some other option to get a human. Any human. Go from there, even if you have to call tech support.

I'm sure that there is some easy resolution to this, but a LOT of staff and resellers are in Europe for Graphisoft's partner conference at the moment.

noticed that as well......everyone is in Europe. go figure, the day I commit my funds to buying...the day they are all away...oh well, we shall prevail.

got hold of Steve Heard. he set me up.
quick service. it's like I've always said...."money talks and..." well, you know the rest.
it was a HUGE BULLET to have to bite but I'm committed to this software. I know how good it is and I know how good Graphisoft is.....no matter how much complaining I do....it's still a good company.
