    <description>No, not by dragging the edge, but there is another way.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
If you don't have the extent of where you want to extend to, you will have to draw something (or try using snap guides).&lt;BR /&gt;
Then use the 'add area' option in the pet palette to add the extra area.&lt;BR /&gt;
This will leave the original nodes as they are.&lt;BR /&gt;

i want to &lt;FONT color="#800000"&gt;offset edge &lt;/FONT&gt;but without move the nodes &lt;FONT color="#800000"&gt;from it's parent. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
is it exist in archicad? &lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>If you are using the &lt;I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;S&gt;&lt;I&gt;&lt;I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;/S&gt;Rotated Rectangle&lt;E&gt;&lt;/E&gt; drawing method, there is no need for guides. Just &lt;I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;S&gt;&lt;I&gt;&lt;I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;/S&gt;Add Area&lt;E&gt;&lt;/E&gt;, click on your two edge nodes then specify offset distance.&lt;BR /&gt;
