    <description>Yes that is normal.&lt;BR /&gt;
It is 'temporary' so you can drag it away, see what is behind and then when you let go it returns to its original position.&lt;BR /&gt;
You want the option at the top of the dialogue to 'Drag Reference'.&lt;BR /&gt;

&lt;BR /&gt;
I appear to be unable to use the "Temporarily Displace Reference" option. When I attempt to use it, as soon as I select the position to move the trace to, it slides back to it's original location...&lt;BR /&gt;
