I am curious how people are creating the proper details @ door sills. Do you draw a new profile for the step down section and put a short section of wall there or do a solid operation with a 3d cutting object placed in the door opening. Just wondering what people are doing out there?

it really depends on the edge detail: whether the slab (if you are even using a slab) is entirely covering the found, or whether it's sitting in a rebate in the found wall.

in the first instance i SEO a slab from The Slab to form a sill rebate. in the second, create a second complex profile found wall with the rebate already taken out and run it under the length of the door.

something i've always wondered about but never looked into: i would like to be able to SEO a the window/door directly from the slab but in such a way that there was a kind of overlarge, invisible SILLHOLE to do the job . . .
