    <description>You're right. I agree. In any case lighting objects are complex.&lt;BR /&gt;
Anyway I suggest you to use 2 separated items:&lt;BR /&gt;
a) 3D lamp (only geometry)&lt;BR /&gt;
b) IES lighting profile&lt;BR /&gt;
In my experience, I find it easier to manipulate, especially during design phase, when you need try and re-try.</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;How is everyone modeling lighting in their models?  I feel it's labor intensive to create lights with the design tools and save as objects, then add light spot lights, etc. to the created object.  &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
I feel that the included lighting/lamp parts are lacking a little.   &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Thoughts?&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>
