Wall accessories add-on interacts with 'W Niche' window placed on opposite face of wall

The wall accessories add-on (I am using 'base and crown' in Moldings and Panels 24) interacts with W Niche 24 window placed on the other side of the wall —the add-on considers the niche as a full opening, so that interior base and crown get interrupted in correspondence with that exterior niche.

That might be because it is a full opening, it just fills in the bit behind the niche.

You are using version 24 - have you tried using the opening tool with limited depth rather than the niche window?
I have not tried this, so I can't say if it will work or not, but it's worth a try.
