Intersection Priority

<T>I typically start the bottom of my exterior walls at the same level as the top of my foundation so that my exterior finish, such as stucco, will cover the mud sill and floor assembly. The intersection priorities of my 2x6 wall, floor assembly and 2x6 mud sill clean up accurately, except for little bit of sheet rock that misses the mud sill. See the attached picture. Can anyone suggest a way to clean this up other than masking it?</T>

You can create your Wall by defining a Complex Profile (just convert your Wall's Composite Structure to a Complex Profile) and add parametric modifiers to it. One of the modifiers would control the bottom of that Skin. When the Wall is generated, you could simply shorten that Skin so it end at the top of the Slab.

Amer, I have deleted you other post.
I basically replied there the same as Laszlo suggested.

Here is what I said...

The connection is controlled by the Priority Based Connections (PBC) of the wall and slab.
As the wall continues below the slab, there is nothing there to cut it away.

So one solution would be to add an extra 'void' under the slab composite to effectively make it thicker to cut the wall away.

But a better solution is to create a complex profile of the main wall and add a 'modifier' to the base of the external skin so that you can stretch it to the required height of the lower wall.

Or you could add in a 3rd wall that is literally just the external skin at the side of the floor slab.
