There should be a setting that spaces out the chairs in the back rows, if you have too many rows, this spacing becomes too big. So you might need several instances of the object for maybe 2-3 rows depending on the curve. With the auditorium seating object (Found under furniture layouts, Archicad 17 Library) i can only set an exact number of seats per row.
