<T>Would any of you smart guys have any ideas why my Archicad always "quits unexpectedly" when I quit? Plotmaker does the same.

This has happened consistently since about mid January, but never before that.

I'm running Release 9 on a Mac with 0S X ver 10.3.9

Thanks</T>

Hello Keith,

There was an issue with this about a year back, and as far as I can remember the only fix for it was to delete AC and PM, then go through the machine manually and remove every pref/cache file related to AC/PM/GS, rebuild the permissions, and then reinstall ArchiCAD.. sounds like fun, eh? You may want to call your GS dealer, and have him (or I suppose you could do it yourself) contact GS and put in a query regarding this issue, they may have a simpler solution.

cheers,
Hi

You just need to delete a few files to sort this out.

If you go to

‘(Hard Drive Name):Users:(User Name):Library:Preferences:Graphisoft:’ you should see something like this(below)

Select any file with ‘prefs’ at the end (in my case, ‘55436.prefs’, ‘Disabled Plotter Prefs’, and ‘Plotter Prefs’) and Trash them.

Empty the trash and start/restart ArchiCAD

This method won't trash ArchiCAD or anything like that, but it will reset the settings in your 'Print' and 'Plot' options.
