Not a bug as such but an OpenGL issue as far as I know.&lt;BR /&gt;
It has been brought up in other posts here as well.&lt;BR /&gt;
It won't affect your documentation (unless you are using an OpenGL view) or your renderings.&lt;BR /&gt;
It is just an on screen problem.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
The only solution I know (and you have alluded to) is to separate the surfaces by a greater distance.&lt;BR /&gt;
Or turn of the layers of the elements you can't see.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <title>Open GL 3D View - Structure showing through roof surface</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;I am having trouble with Open GL views.&lt;BR /&gt;
- when viewing the 3D from a distance, the structure below the roof shows through.  (even if it has a clearance of 5mm... not preferable) - see Roof Surface Clash 01.JPG attached&lt;BR /&gt;
- when I zoom in, it dissapears - see Roof Surface Clash 02.JPG attached &amp;lt;&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Is it a bug?&lt;BR /&gt;
Anybody else have this issue?&lt;BR /&gt;
