Eman - As you can see from the posts above, Archicad is a very flexible tool and there are many different ways to do things. Learn what the tools do first and then when you get stuck, the members of this very helpful community will hopefully point you in the right direction.

<R>Hi guys,

I am really liking ArchiCad <E>😉</E>

I have another little problem how to apply a flat roof? I can apply a slab easily but I cannot apply a flat roof with same method as the slab!

Thanks,</R>

Flat roofs are done with slabs not with the roof tool.

That only means that you model them with the Slab tool. You can Classify them as Roofs though, in order to have it's property set.

Roofs can be drawn with positive or negative gradients which includes flat or 0 degrees.

Slabs are used where you do not need a slope e.g. floors

Flat roofs are not flat in regions that have rain. So use the roof tool with a shallow pitch

But flat roofs are flat underneath so use the slab tool and if necessary use a mesh to get the rise as you need.
