Yes. You can add a plaster "roof" just under the stairs. A complex profile would be another way, but the Roof Tool is probably the easiest for you.

Thank you! I hope they will add this properties to stairs.

best way is to adjust height of the connecting slab in stairs settings.
After that you can add plaster roof as mentioned in this topic.
If it possible avoid solid element operation.

How about this case? The slabs and stairs should have the same 4 layers, altogether 60 cm thick.

It's not only a plaster layer beneath the stair, which could be a roof, but also two layers above the concrete. The floor covering option for stairs allows me to add the wooden covering, but I still miss the insulation.

Same situation here.

So far the only solution I think of is qucikly drawing 2D hatch over the stairs so that they look nice. I can't imagine building all the stairs out of combination of walls and slabs.

In the end, if I need it really 3D, what should I do?

Create a custom profile and assign it to a wall or beam? Or maybe, there is a way to have a "custom profile" for stairs? To build them manually (out of slabs and walls) and then to save them as custom stair?

It appears the slab/floor connection control (designating upper floor thickness, bottom of flight condition etc.) is missing from the 'new' (since AC21) stair tool...
... or am I missing something? The 'help' documentation is silent on this functionality.

Can anyone confirm this is missing or where I can find the setting (believe me, I've spent half an hour looking in every conceivable place!)

thanks
