topic Drew metes and bounds rotated them, then they disappeared. in Modeling

<DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"><T>I drew the metes and bounds (surveyors property lines) using surveyor units. Then I rotated them to align with the building. They appeared there for a few seconds, then they disappeared from the screen. First the lines, then a N/S symbol I made out of lines disappeared after that. I tried to "undo (ctrl+z) but they didn't come back, so I saved a copy and tried to open the file again and they were still gone. I tried to open a previously saved copy and the save was done before those lines were created. Now I have to re-draw 15 of these lines typing in all their coordinates again, then hope they don't disappear again. Kind of discouraging. I would love to learn why this happened, so that I don't do it again. Also, is there a better way to do site plans than rotating the property lines post entry?</T></DIV>
