Is there a way to download something like a executable version of ArchiCAD 9 for mac ?

Ask your reseller. The full version becomes a demo-version when no hardware lock is installed, so there is no seperate demo-version.

I'm not sure about the legalities, but using a copy from a commercial CD would lead to the same result.

I have written a mail to my reseller. no demo version yet 😞. and it´s also a long time until the education version released here 😞( so no No9 for me 😞((

Ask your reseller to loan you a copy of the full version CD.
As pointed out already when a dongle is not found the software will run in demo mode (a different icon) which is 'save disabled'

Alternately you could purchase a ppu (pay per use dongle which runs for 50 hrs) to test drive the software

I got the demo this week .... very nice app, but the student version does not shipping before February here in Germany 😞

Last word was that the student version was for the end of December

(But I have the commercial version, so it's only bad news for our students)
