<R>I'm new to learning about composite wall. I set up the composite wall with an "aluminum" finish on the exterior, but it's showing up as grey, what am I doing wrong here?

In addition to the Building Material surface, it is also possible to override the surface in the wall settings.
When the button is not pressed it will use the Building Material surface.
When it is press you can override it with any other surface.

Thank you both, I'm able to get it to work. Follow up question....
How do I turn off the dark color of the rear elevations?
It looks like my sun is at the corner of the house, so the front and the side elevation show up bright, but the other side and rear elevation show up as dark.
I went into View>3D window settings but couldn't find the option to turn it off...

Thanks - please see the image.

fuss with these settings https://www.screencast.com/t/n5hBxiu6

Ctrl+Shift+F3 then click on the Sunlight box

Or perhaps trun off your shadows from the 3D Styles dialog boxes ?
Even wish shadows turned off, you will have a slight colour difference unless your sun and camera are set bisecting your corner.
