topic Complex Profile Contour projections - through roof? in Modeling

<R>Hi,

So I have created a complex profile column patch for a tricky wall intersection that won't clean up, using the tip described here <S></S><LINK_TEXT text="https://wwabim.wordpress.com/2015/04/24 ... m-profile/">https://wwabim.wordpress.com/2015/04/24/wall-intersection-column-custom-profile/</LINK_TEXT><E></E>.

This works great in floor plans, however when the top of the wall (now including column 'patch') meets a roof and is the complex profiled column is then trimmed / merged to roof, the complex profile contours show through the roof. Any idea how to prevent this?

FCP is above the roof and the column is set to Projected (range is over Entire Element). Would a cover fill to the roof work? (I tried but it didn't work for me)

Many thanks,

Pease
Pease:

Without and image of your issue it is hard to understand the problem, but I would try using Solid Element Operation (SEO) rather than trimming, as the strength of the Building Materials may affect the trim.
