<R>Hi guys, i'm trying to figure out how to create this stair using the stair tool, i used to create custom stair risers, i had a good looking stair in 3D, but in 2D view, the stair symbols is like a simple stair,
how to get a 2d view that reflects the real 3D shape of the stair ??

Thanks
The Floor Plan Symbol of the Stair is composed of multiple GDL Objects. The Boundary and the Tread Lines is generated by the GDL Object set for the "Grid and Structure" component under "Floor Plan Display". By default this is the "Stair Grid 22" GDL Object.
You would have 2 options:
1. If you are really good at GDL, you could take the "Stair Grid 22" GDL Object, save it under a new name and modify its 2D Script to display exactly what you want. This is a potentially cumbersome route.
2. If you wanted a fast and dirty solution, you could just draw the desired 2D using Lines and Fills.

Thanks for the reply,
i hope this would be solved in next version, cos, the logic says, stair symbol on floor plan must match it's shape in 3D,

here is the modeled stair, i used wo custom objects, i made the upper thread that way to avoid lines on section . and i set stair angle to a fix value, 38°, to keep the same angle when i edit it,
