Are you able to move this to wish list? It seems like a necessary basic function to me or anyone who likes using shells.

Shell Reference Line

<T>Hi All,

I'm checking to see if it is possible to change the reference line of a shell when using a composite. Unless I'm missing an easy command (which I'm hoping I am), a shell with a finish on both sides of the core will have the reference line attached to the finish (unlike walls which can reference the core). Flipping only flips the entire shell- always referencing the top of the composite. Hoping I'm missing an easy command. Thanks much!

You can only flip a shell so it is entirely above or below the reference line.
There are no allowances for core and finish as with slabs/walls).
The workaround in case anyone hasn't considered it is to redefine or create a new composite with the materials reversed. I does go against the obvious guidance in the composite of inside / outside face, but if necessary these can be safely ignored!
