    <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;R&gt;created a profile.&lt;BR /&gt;
using it as a "beam" to create a trim around an opening.&lt;BR /&gt;
the trim wraps around the opening in a wall........YET.....the beam is cut off by the actual opening.............why?&lt;BR /&gt;
(see attached).&lt;BR /&gt;

Profile needs to be on a layer with different intersection priority number than the wall and have a 'stronger' building material than the wall&lt;BR /&gt;

I did what you suggested. i totally forgot bout the "layer priority status" factor. So just for the record, I was able to bump the layer which contained the trim beams and it worked. Now they are seen "within" a wall opening. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Thanks for your help I didn't have to increase the building materials priority, just the layer priority for it to take effect.&lt;BR /&gt;
