Walls can not change colour (appearance) along their length, unless there is an opening object (door or window) placed in them.
Or they are interacting (trimming) with walls in another layer.
Otherwise they must be separate walls.

Also if a wall has its 'Floor Plan Display' set to 'Projected with Overhead' then the height of the wall in relation to the Floor Plan Cutting Plane will come into effect.
Depending on your wall settings generally a wall below the FPCP will be solid line with empty fill.
A wall being cut by the FPCP will appear solid.
A wall above the FPCP will appear dashed line and empty fill.

<R>Hi,

If I have 4 walls in 2D with yellow colors and I want to change one to black color as the image, what is the proper way to do it?
Ok maybe I did not make myself clear enough. What I mean is how can I make walls with different colors as the image?
Use a building material that has a different cut fill between the two that you want?

Hi Ling and thanks for your reply.

I already tried that way but I think there is another option. In the image there are walls that a wall in itself has 2 colors (brown and white).
https://yadi.sk/i/Ff0mkYfI2YEWjg

With building material I cannot do that.

Are those walls on different stories? If so, are you overlaying views? In which case you could just use a different GO.
