Thanks Barry.

I didn't know about the inability to move the structure and to only be able to move the treads and risers.

Thanks again!

<T>I'm trying to get a single winder on a stair that has a different start width before the winder than after the winder. I can get the widths right, but the actual single winder doesn't start and end at a corner. I'm not sure how I can get it to do that? I'm out of ideas. Does anyone know? I don't want the winder to be at a 45 degree.</T>

If you have treads and risers then you can simply 'Edit' the stair in plan and stretch the treads risers to the corner.
This will not adjust the stair structure though.
I am not sure if you can adjust that.
As far as I know you can only have winders with equal angles or equal goings.

I guess the structure is what contains the geometry of the stair (tread length, riser height, number of treads, etc.) and so can not be altered.
But in my opinion this should be contained in an underlying geometry frame and the structure should be able to be altered - curved treads for example,
Then the treads and risers can follow the structure or can be further edited on their own.

But this is just a guess on my part.

I agree the structure should be adjustable.
What happens when we want a solid concrete stair with no tread or riser finish, but want it to have curved steps?

Hi All,

Thank you very much for sharing your opinions regarding the stair structure in Stair tool.

I am happy to say we already had this wish recorded in our Wish List database (please refer to it as Wish #11919). Hopefully, we will be able to implement it soon!

Thank you all once more, and I wish you a great day!

Best regards,
