      <title>Stairs modeling: how to make Flight - Stringers lower than Tread</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;The wish is to model stairs that has ~10cm flight stringer and  tread finish slips over it (like in the picture). However stair reference line is at the top of a stringer.&lt;BR /&gt;
Don't know why, but nosing tool doesn't work as well. &lt;BR /&gt;
Maybe I'm not seeing something?&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>Yes, it seems there is a (maybe unnecessary) limitation that the Stringer cannot go below the Treads, so the "Height above Treads" field does not allow a negative value.&lt;BR /&gt;
In the case of Landings, I say I would even understand this limitation, but in the case of Flights, it seems unnecessary to me.&lt;BR /&gt;
I will forward this to Graphisoft for their consideration.</description>

      <description>I don't have Archicad running at the moment to test, but try using beams instead of stringers.&lt;BR /&gt;
