<R>Hi All,

I would like to know how to make a hexagon curtain wall.
I only found a tutorial onli which is using a shell tool, but that didn't work for me...

Something like the ArchiCad 18 startup foto

You will have to edit the frames manually.

By making a smart grid, it should be possible to limit the editing to only the diagonals.

... Or you can use truss maker or you can even make a custom object using slabs ...
Of course with the last option you lose the editing but it's faster during modeling.
Truss maker could be a good solution as well, especially if your profile are not rectangular, and it is editable at the same time ...

Hi, this is an interesting question, I don't know the answer I will need to go and find out how to do it. But it catch my attention now, does its really need to be made manually modified the frames? Can't they be done with a custom frame or custom panels?

I will give a try to this later when I have some time.
Interesting...

In this case I would also model it without the curtainwall tool, windows/doors/etc from curtainwall are rectangular only, so there really is very little benefit of using it.

A custom panel might work, but you might as well just draw it in complex profile manager and use a complex profile wall. No need to draw the whole thing even, you can just copy around one small bit.

I used the slab method and it works fine. Downside is that every window has to be made seprately since there are no parameters set to scale it.
