Hi Laszlo:

Just watched the video (skimmed over some parts of it) and IMHO, I thought it was great! To me, it makes a big difference when I can get to see the actual people who work on the software that I use everyday.

The scale of stuff that was talked about today may be interesting for larger projects, but not so much for single-family homes.

My gosh, I thought you were joking about the parasol object until I saw it for myself.

I still can't decide if this is worse than the playground object from last year or just as bad.

Why, oh why do Graphisoft spend development resources on stuff like this and then have it be claimed that they don't have enough resources to devote to a tool that would actually improve all our lives like the stair tool and the window or door libraries?

Can any of you people who love defending GS at the slightest invitation please make sense of this for me?
I feel like I'm missing something here; I really really do.

Here's my conspiracy theory: Graphisoft and Cadimage made a secret pact that GS will not put Cadimage out of bussiness by issuing flexible doors, windows, stairs.
(Actually Cadimage stairs are just as bad as Graphisoft stairs... Different issues, but just as many if not more.)

Realistic theory: these objects are easier to make than to redefine the way stairs, doors, windows work. And I am guessing someone already did most of it for a project, GS just had to work it a bit more...

A few of us came in to office at 6 AM to catch the live stream. It was fun, I'm happy they did it.

BTW, which building was it held at?
