<T>Hi all,

First post here, only reason I'm posting is because i haven't found someone with the same problem. I will start by saying I am working in someone else's model, and can't get in touch with the person who made it.

I need to change the height of the exterior walls on this model. When I change the height in the dialogue box they remain clipped to the roof in 3D. When I change the elevation of the roof the wall height does not change to follow the roof. The walls do not seem to be trimmed to the roof. Help?

Using ArchiCAD 21 on a Mac.</T>

sandraEDX:

Welcome to the forum.

Here are two options to check:
1. The Walls are Trimmed by a hidden Roof: turn on all layers to see if there are hidden SEO Operators.
2. The Walls are Cropped (old command before SEOs were possible) rather than Trimmed. Select the Wall, right-click to get the Context Menu, then see if the command "Undo All Crops" is there (near the bottom of the menu).

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
Hi David,

Thank you so much, the walls were indeed cropped (I had never heard of this function before, only started using ArchiCAD a couple months back)
Thanks for the help!
sandraEDX:

The command is still there for legacy reasons, but has been superseded by SEO, so most users are unaware of it.

Thanks for adding the signature.
