Undo SEO

Anyway to undo a SEO after the command is completed. Have made revisons to a drawing weeks after I used the SEO command to trim a slab. Now I need for the removed piece to be put back....can't find a way to do that.

Undoing a SEO on a Target Element is done by:
1. Bring up SEO Palette.
2. Select Slab (the Target).
2. Click the ...All Operators button at the bottom of the Palette.
That should do it.

I tried to use the "All operators" bar at the bottom of the SEO pallet,
as you mentioned to undo a SEO operation,
but it did not seem to do anything.
Could you please offer another hint?

Did you remember to select the slab? If so, maybe try canceling the target? Or select all the involved elements and use the '...All Other Selected Elements'.

Never seen this not work before.

So you selected the Target, clicked the All Operators button and nothing happened.
You can also try to select the Operator (e.g. a Roof) and click All Targets. It should essentially do the same thing.

Another question is whether the element was cut with SEO. Or the Trim to Roof command was used instead. In that case the Undo Trim command should be used.

You can try to check if the Target is actually associated to the element you think is the Operator. Elevate the Operator element and the shape of the Target element should change accordingly. If it does not then that element you raise is not the Operator.

But to tell you the truth, sometimes I experienced strange behaviour, similar to yours. So if nothing works, just delete and redo the element.

The command from the SEO did not work. Actually, it looks correct in plan, but in 3D window the seo cut showed. I had already deleted the SEO operator, so that could not be selected. Once I moved it away from its location where it had been cut, it looked correct in 3D. When I moved it back, it was cut.
I copied, the copy is correct in both 3D and plan. Deleted the old one, replaced with the new correct one.
My guess is that because no operator actually exists anymore, the SEO command won't work.

Yes, but this is what is strange.
If the Operator is deleted then the Target should revert to its un-SEO-ed state because there is no Operator anymore.
Curious stuff.

That's one of those self-evident truths, isn't it.
If we delete something it will not be there anymore. How philosophic I am.

However still suggestions have not undone SEO,
either with the operator selected and using
“All …operators” or having the target
selected using, “All ..targets”.

So in an attempt to verify, I did a
SEO sequence (and attempted deletions) on a completely different project,
and elements (roof and wall) and sill no results with the “undo” commands
of SEO.
Of course ctl Z worked, because I had not saved file yet, in either one.
Systems is set up by professional IT tech and AC11 has worked flawlessly eversense build 1114.
So, any more ideas??

I think you have this bit confused. Try the other way, select the Target and "All Operators" option, as it is the operators' actions on the target that you want to remove.

Thank you Stuart and others.
You are absolutely right. It seems so simple now.
It reminds me of some other simple AC things (and other things in life)
I’ve missed in the past that were right there, but my failed logic sent me
down a blind corridor. Which reminds me. “Blind” corridors must be twice
as wide as long, so as to not have impacted panic.
Think I need to relearn that.
