Hello.
The essence of the problem:
Modeling a wooden frame for a frame house, I use such objects from roof elements as “racks”, “Mauerlat”, etc., I tried the “beam” and “column” tools.
Everything is modeled normally, it is considered in the calculations, but there is a problem with the display in the drawings. Elements put together merge into one when viewed from a section or facade. And in 3D document also merge. How to prevent them from merging? And displayed as separate elements?
----------------------------------
An example in attached files,
the plan shows that there are three racks nearby, but in the section they merge into one object.
What setting does this affect when displaying objects or setting a view or section? After all, there are objects that do not merge.

This is controlled by their Surface assignment. Duplicate the Surface and assign it to alternating elements.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
