How to delete Mullion/Transoms to a Curtain Wall

I'm sure I'm missing something glaringly obvious but I'm trying to put a door opening into a curtain wall and I can't delete all of the mullions/transoms in order to get the correct panel size to swap for sliding doors.

If I delete the mullions within the opening that I would like, when I then select and try to delete the transoms, nothing happens and vice versa.

Attached is what I'm stuck with!

Hello thompsonmp,

I'm noob of the forum too, but looking for the reason why you can't delete some profiles I think that probably your trouble is that you have to select contemporary all the mullion you want to delete.
every profile have to finish connecting to another profile, so you cannot delete a piece of profile that is the only one another profile is connected to.

if it doesn't work we could try with other solutions!
